Question on Extended_ROM directory

I'm running Kirvin's 3.5 rom on one of my PPC-6700s. The Extended ROM comes unlocked and empty. If I install programs on there (like MSVC, CallerID Bluetooth, and Bluetooth Audio), then re-lock it, will it still be accessable to run these programs?

Thanks for a quick reply.

1) Why would you want to relock it now that you found a place to store stuff with extra memory

2) as long as the program doesn't need to write to any files it will work ok... if you are talking about just locking it... if you are talking about hiding it then nothing will work

The main reason to revert: Pocket Outlook will not save email attachments to the external storage card if extended rom is visible. 9.9 MB for attachments is just not enough for some people.

Exactly

That is EXACTLY why I want to relock it. To store email attachments and photos/videos from the camera. If I leave the ROM unlocked/unhidden, it will store that stuff on it. With only 9MB of space, it's just not enough.

Thanks for answering my questions guys. This is an awesome site!
