6700 Wont Read Memory Card

Hi guys, my 6700 doesnt want to read my memory card or my wifes. Anyone have any possible reason why. Also it started not reading a couple of days ago but i would take it out and put it back in a couple of times and then would read but now no matter how many times I do it it doesnt seem to connect/read. I can read memory card on pc using memory card reader so I know its not the card. Has anyone had this problem?

Well, you say it will not read yours or your wifes? Will your wifes device read yours? You know the card is good to an extent because you say the PC will read it but what format is the card formatted to? It could be a physical issue on the reader itself in the device or a software issue that controls the reader. After trying everything else I guess you could hard reset and flasg your device and if that fails then you know you have a bad reader in your device and need to find a suitable replacement or repair.

I meant that i did a hard reset and it did work after i did it. But today a day after it didnt want to. But I figured out what it was, my memory slot is bent and doesnt make a proper connection. So i stuck a small piece(did I spell this right) of paper in with the card and now it makes a connection. Thanks for the advice though. It turned out it was just hardware problems.

Im not playing when I say I started to ask you if the mechanism was bent because they can be a bit difficult to stick in sometimes and you have to be careful. But ive never met anyone who bent thiers. Anyway, glad you go it.
