Can't connect to home network

I have been trying to get my phone to connect to my home network but it always seems to stall at "Connecting to network" on the wireless LAN setting page. Any ideas?

Sure, are you using a OEM ROM from your carrier or a custom ROM such as one of the 3.5s from here or the WM6? Is your router using WEP/WPA(2)? So you have MAC address filtration set up on your router or "X" amount of DHCP IP addresses setup to be assigned and given out? Have you tried to delete the network settings and try to reconnect?

For instance, I use Kirvins C&S 3.5 (WM5) with a Linksys router (802.11B/G) using WPA2. My router is setup to assign ONLY 6 IP addresses and 3 of those are wireless which means they have the MAC Address included in the router setup for more (ever so slightly) authentication. I have one desktop PC, 2 laptop PCs, 1 XBox and 2 PPCs.

I am using the stock OEM rom that came with the phone. I was able to connect to my network before. But I deleted it off of my phone by mistake and now when ever I put my password in it just sits on "connecting to Network".

Do you know EXACTLY what your encryption key is? How many characters and type encyption are you using? You are overlookiing something very simple somewhere. Try bringing down your encryption and running unsecured on your router to see if you can connect then. If you can, go back in your router and re-setup your encryption key and type. Then try to reconnect your 6700 to your network with that same key.
