phone goes crazy after soft reboot

when I soft reboot my phone. the thing will vibrate and give the old phone ring style constintaly for about 2 minutes. it only does this after a soft reboot. I have checked under my sounds and alarms options and I have nothing set for that ring type. though I do have items set to vibrate then ring. I have tried disabling these as well and it still does it.

thank you

Sounds like some things have got all crossed up in there and is now time for a fresh start. In other words, it is MHO you flash and reload your ROM and start clean.

I had the same problem, I had to hard reset and reinstall a spb backup file. The ring was what I had set for an alarm and the problem didn't start for me until after I set the alarm and it didn't matter if I deleted it afterwards. Solution: (for me anyways) no more setting alarms on my phone.

This happened to me once when I loaded a Rom and didn't do a hard reset. A hard reset might be what you need. I hope you get it to work.

It really shouldnt take very long to flash the phone and set it back up. I can flash, install apps, customize and reg edit all in about 60-90mins and thats with me moving slow.
