Exclamation running wm6 and my usb port busted.

eek!

How concerned should I be about this? The usb connection port is no longer working. I can't connect via a power adapter or a usb cable.

If i bring this in for repair, are they going to hang my *** cause I'm not running a standard rom? Even though my problem is entirely hardware based.

thanks for your help.

tom

Have you ever heard the expression 'you screwed the pooch'?

Seriously though, since it is h/w related I do not think it will be an issue.

BTW, how did the USB port break?

it was simply a matter of usage.

It was working intermittently for the past couple of months. Dropped the phone and now it's dead. If I ram the plug in and HOLD it, sort accepts a charge.

RMA it! I got a new 6700 a while back for that very reason. USB wouldn't charge or synch anymore. Wear and Tear.
