Hey guys,

I'm recently "reformatted" by 6700 so to speak, and am now reinstalling Iguidence to work with my BT-338.

However I cannot get IG to recognize the GPS receiver and I seem to have misplaced my instructions so I might be missing something.

The receiver is connecting to the phone, with hardware port COM0 (secure connection checked), program port COM1, Baud rate 38400, and the Serial Port Service checked.

IG will not auto detect the reciever, or manually connect when I select the correct port and baud rate.

Any help would be appreciated as I was hoping to have this working for the roadtrip this weekend.

click on 'new outgoing port' on the 6700 device when pairing and use com 8 or default com 7. incoming port just leave it at com 0. then in iguidance make sure in the tab gps options, u select com 8 or whatever u paired with. sometimes i have used com 6. also, on first use of the receiver it can take up to 10 minutes to obtain a fix on signals and u won't see any green bars till that is done.

in any case, i believe the usual problem with pairing is the new outgoing port as opposed to the incoming port com ports. hopefully u have iguidance 4. it seems problem free
