Some more details please. Are you trying to stop activesync from starting by itself?

there was a hack posted in the battery consumption thread to turn off autosync and stopping exchange from loading of something. i cant remember exactly how to explain it but it did gave my battery a little more talk time..

i am just trying to find ways to turn off things running in the background without me knowing... i already have a hardtime with my batteries from my phone looking for service all day long in this building...

if any1 wants to take the verizon challenge come in this building no carrier works in here lol.

when ur phone's syncing go to activesync options from your phone and add a bogus exchange server, at which point it will allow you to modify the times to sync automatically. Just change it to manual sync. Next go into your phone options and disable time sync. You can also try this app. I have not tried it and so don't know if it works or not:

FreewarePPC.com - Freeware Pocket PC: ActiveSync Toggle v1.0.4.0
