Hi,

I deleted PIM.VOL in order to re-load my Contact list from scratch.

Is there any way to get Speed Dial #1 "re-connected" to Speed Dial position#1?

Things that *DON'T* work:

1. Position 1 is not available when you try to add it back manually.
2. Filling in the proper VM number (*86 or your phone number) in Phone -> Options -> VoiceMail field does not establish the link to Speed Dial #1

Thanks for any suggestions you can provide. I've done several searches on the forum here and don't see anything but if I've missed it, please send me there...

-menu
-options
-the top of that setting page is where to put in your voicemail info

-extra-
-after your number place a lowercase 'p' (no qutes) followed by your voicemail password, and you'll never have to enter it again

-warning-
-neither will anyone else who has access too your phone...

I too lost my speed dial #1 slot after deleting my pim.vol file and the above did not bring it back. Anyone?
