Data Line not Auto-Disconnecting

I've had a XV6700 for about a year and a half. I recently dropped it and had got a new one (thank god) through insurance. For some reason the data line doesn't automatically disconnect after sending/recieving MMS. It did on my last one and would like this one to as well. Thanks.

I have a xv6700 and mine does not turn data off after a MMS. I have to manually switch it off through comm manager. I would be interested to know if theres a way to do it automatically.

Yeah, that's how my new one is. But my old one (with an older firmware) would auto disconnect after MMS. It's annoying, and bothers me, what if I get a MMS in the middle of the night and can't turn it off right away.

while not automatic, a quicker way is to hold down the red 'end call' button for several seconds - that's what I keep doing anyway...

That will make it a little faster and less painful, but if it did it on my previous one why isn't there a way to do it with this one. BAH.

What's the problem with this? If it's left on there's no charge is there?

Send a message via AIM to chspyder1

If you hold the end call button you will turn on flight mode.
