I installed this and it works great. Just needs to be kept running as it takes a while to "load" 2000+ contacts. I use Magic Button and just check the "Keep Alive" function. Huge improvement over the original contacts app.
I posted about this a couple of weeks back. It's an awesome app, and just about everything on it is skinnable and user definable in the system.ini and in the localization file.
I've got one just like that, but it cuts out the start bar at the top.
And I didnt try the one you posted, but it looks like it keeps a place holder for each letter, which the one I use does not.
It doesn't keep a placeholder for empty letters. Thats just a screenshot with the contact information removed. It only shows the contacts you have, no empty slots so no worries there.
This one CAN display full screen (over write the top bar, or not. It's user configurable in the system.ini file...as is everything else, colors, gonts, informationformatting, language loaclization, etc.
I DL'ed and installed this one and like it so far also. It is nice to have an app that also makes the contact pic larger than a few pixels squared. THX
looks nice and smooth but its not showing all my info on contacts. like more than a couple of people have 2 email addy's and its only showing 1. so no im not feeling this one. damn good effort tho!

I noticed this too, but when i send email, i usually do it from Pocket Outlook, so it doesn't matter to me. I just use this contacts manager for making phone calls.
well the three .ini files that are there you can edit and change so you can basically take the app that is given to you and build on it and customize it to your liking.
So once you have copied that folder over to \Program Files you simply go to the folder and click on the PocketCM.exe to run the app.
Now if you want you can create a shortcut to that PocketCM.exe over in \Windows\Start Menu\Programs so you can more easily access it there and then could also go to your Menu settings and place in it the Start Menu on your Today screen.
Now if you want to go a step above that you can do the following reg edits to make one of the soft keys start the app.
Change softkeys on “Today” screen
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\keys\112 — left
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\keys\113 — right
You may not have a 113, but you can just make the 113 identical to 112 and change the “open” command. The value for “Default” controls what is displayed on the screen.
So for the Default value you can enter "PocketCM" or "Contacts"
And for the String value of the Open command you type the directory path for the application or shortcut.

I have the same issue...PocketCM work, but it takes a while to find the specific contact. Could you tell me where to find Magic Button? I googled it and only found Magic Button Task manager... Is that the same?
