how can i create a shortcut to a URL ?

I want to create a shortcut to specific URLs, so that when I click them my default browser will automatically launch straight to the URL.

Anyone know how to create these shortcuts?

I asked this same question about a year ago.
I use an application called iLauncher, its awesome and runs on my today screen. I added nice icons and it launches the webbrowser on one touch!

Take a look at that thread:

Just create a New Folder, drop it in your Programs Folder and then paste some of your favorites in there. Do this with Total Commander, or connect to Active Sync and do it.

1. Create the New Folder, (name it want you want), in the following directory: /Windows/Start Menu/Programs/

2. Copy some of your favorite "specific URLs" into this folder. And that's it.

Next time you hit the start menu click on programs, then click on the New Folder, and you should see your URLs.

Hope that's what you wanted.

James
