Personally, I hated it. I could only see the options for None or OneShot on network access. Pretty annoying to have to allow access every time I click a link.
Intent Midlet Manager. By far the best. It was built into the 3.5 rom I'm using but can be "found" elsewhere of course.
mini is blazingly fast because the pages are rendered by opera for you. and its free. I don't know why they don't give you an option to use this technology in their mobile version that you have to pay for. Its definitely not for everyone; lots of functionality (linking/emailing, copy/pasting) is lost because its a midlet, built for a regular mobile phone. But for casual browsing of "desktop" websites its hard to beat. I use it for ~90% of my browsing and my midlet manager has replaced PIE for my "e" button.
The beta has some bugs, I like the release version of mini though. It's fast for standard html sites. Only problem is it becomes a memory hog after viewing a lot of pages, would be great if they fixed that. Picsel Browser is awesome for viewing full desktop web pages. Having PIE, OperaMini, and Picsel Browser installed, I can view just about any site, as long as it doesn't have java applets or the newer flash.
This is the first time i post in this forum room i had my sprint ppc 6700 for over a year i love it this site made me love the phone but i really cant figure out how to install java to use mini if some one could help that would be great thanks again guys and keep up the good work
i'd also suggest using opera mobile instead of mini. there's a new opera version 8.65 out that is free and in beta until october. and it works great. a great update from version 8.6. can now do the panning of the screen that it was missing. so i suggest using mobile 8.65 set it to view webpages as desktop with zoom around 75% and with the panning with stylus/finger it can't be beat. and it won't give you the java problem some are dealing with.
I have Opera 8.60 Mobile in my 6700 and it loads very fast. But an odd thing that I have noticed is speeds. I use my wifi to connect to various places while I am out and around town. Opera seems to load pages faster than IE6.0but when I went to DSLReports.com and did a mobile speed test I came back with around 700k in Opera but hit 1300-1400k in IE. I did this about 3 different times just to make sure. Maybe some others can try some tests and see what they get. I do use Opera on my desktops and laptops and am trying out the new Safari browser.

I have the XV6700 and have the same question. Any help is appreciated.
I tried Opera Mini... Not my cup of tea. But Opera Mobile 8.65 is really nice. Also not that it's important since mobytube is running well, but Youtube, (the real one) works on 8.65.
