I put the plg files in the same directory as player.exe, but when i click on a flv file, the details show up in TCPMP, but nothing plays. Where should I put that .exe file that came with the zip?

Thanks!

First you can put the exe for the d/l anywhere. Second I put the addin into the TCPMP dir. Then I opened TCPMP and assoc the flv format and closed it. Start the d/l software and leave it running in the background. Then you log onto youtube and pick a clip. Copy and paste the id (address) into the space called out in the d/l program and start the d/l. After that go to where you saved it and play it.

for the id, is it the entire URL or the value in the v= of it? i've tried both and it says "Failed to open file".

Thanks!

I know I've used just the value after v= and it's worked. I thing I've used the the entire url. The only time I've seen one fail is when the clip has been removed.

edit:

I just tried it again. This time I just did a pick/hold and copied the link into the dl software and it work. That's the same as the entire url.

Thanks! I figured it out yesterday. I wasn't selecting a folder for it to download to, I thought it was just gonna d/l to the root of the Storage Card, but it didn't. But yeah, the value after the v= or the entire URL does work. This thing is sweet. Now we need a Google Video version!
