am i the only person who got scammed by this guy? we had a rapid back and forth email conversation, i sent him $20 via paypal - and now he's nowhere to be found. won't respond to my email requests for the program...NUTHIN. what's up with this guy?

That's ODD, for sure! He seemed to be a pretty stand up guy to me. Maybe he's just a bit busy right now. He responded quicker that I would have imagined for me. I got the theme installed, also. It definately is a HUGE theme. Love it, though. I'm just trying to figure out if there's any way to change the background from the goofy FISH?!

I was worried at first since his website is in turkey, but he was cool with me, sent payment and he sent the theme right away.

I to am looking to see if the background can be changed, theonly thing that I noticed when installing it is you have 2 parts to the background 1st. is the actual fish picture, 2nd is that top portion where the start button usually is is seperate from the fish background I think the wishbar advance software skins the top portion

FYI... I also tried to install this to my 4gig mini sd card and it didn't work, You really do need to install this to the main memory FYI...

I can see the iphone-like interface correctly when I open the phone.

Portrait desktop appears fine. When I slide open the hardware keyboard, the application switches landscape mode and I can see the icons for editing/customizing, though some are not in the viewable area in portrait view. That's my first query for help.

The clock appears. The slider works properly in both views.

I have mapped some of the icons, but have trouble with others and that is where I am seeking some input.

I have set the interface for the media player, the phone page, the calculator. All work fine and look like they are supposed to.

- Picsel runs but does not automatically connect to the web; I do not know how to fix this.

- Weather works, but I want to change view settings to larger icons and cannot figger out how to nav to a place where I can do so.

- I do not know how to set up the google maps functionality, or anything else that is an action to a link rather than mapped to an executable. Learning to do this would I presume also enable me to put in links to my gmail account for that icon rather than a link to the thick client I won't be using, right?

- I do not know how to nav to the SMS application to map it to the SMS icon now pointed to pocket outlook.


I know I am close, but could use some final config help with these items though

Though its kind of neat to play around with the iPhone theme. Have any of you seen the TV ads for the iPhone itself? Makes the use of the theme feel like putting a ferrari sticker on a ford

I'm not acknowledging that what he is doing is either right or wrong. I'm just stating from a standpoint of paying for a service and recieving the merchandise for that payment, that I have not had any trouble. Maybe that should have been clarified a bit better?

There's 2 ways to change.

1. place the replacement image in the /Themes/Desktop/WAD_iPhone/ directory....name it back1.png ( I would rename the original). The landscape image will be back1_L.png. Looks like back1.png is 240x294 & back1_L.png is 320x213.

2. at the fishy desktop, hold down the stylus until you get the menu, select page, then wallpaper. click on the ... box to the right of the image path, find your new image & select it.


yeah....#2 would be easiest, lol.


btw...Ozan is working on an updated release, hopefully will be out in the next few days.

Hello, I am new to the forums and have no idea how pdas work. However, I am going to be purchasing a verizon wirless xv6700 and am interested in doing the iPhone setup. I was just wondering if I will have to make any changes to the phone or download something before I can make the switch? Will the brand new phone from verizon wireless come with everything I will need? Also if I get the iPhone setup and want to switch back to the orginal settings is it easy as uninstalling or will I have to download the orignal settings?

Any help would be appreciated sorry for being so new at this. Thank you

I know the free one doesn't come with picsel but if you download it from ppcgeeks it becomes the same thing.

I tried the TS launcher briefly...while I liked the desktop look, when you went to a program, you lost the iPhone skin. Also, all the icons are different than the iPhones. Ozan's $20 theme uses Wisbar, and include alot of iPhone skins for various apps, but the desktop is much different.....I am now using a modified version of Ozan's that looks identical to the iPhone, and also uses ppc geeks slider.
