I just purchased the Plantronics Discovery 665 and I love it! The sound quality is excellent, the volume is great....the only problem I'm having so far is when I run Windows Media playing music, I hold down the button on the bt for two seconds and I hear the music, but at the same time the 6700 goes to voice speed dial and wants me to "speak after the beep". If you don't speak, the music goes back to playing on the 6700 and not through the BT. The result is that you can only listen to music for 2 seconds! Any help / thoughts / suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Please type slowly...I'm a little new to this.

Odd - I took my 665 back to best buy 2 days after buying it - voice recognition with it was terrible (my old motorolas hs8210 was better) and everyone told me it sounded like I was talking in the middle of a thunderstorm.

I was very disappointed.

I also had a Plantronics and took it back. At first it was great, but then it turned to crap quickly. I then got a Jabra JX-10. I am in love. It has worked great ever since I got it.

jonwlewis, I asume that you are running Vioce Command on your 6700. If youhave it you can make this reg edit, it will keep the connection open until you close it by holding the button th BT headset for 2 seconds. The edit is :change the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\VoiceCommand\Path to a new value: '\Program Files\Voice Command\VoiceCMD.exe' (without the quotes.)
