Can We use the Mini USB to connect a gps to the phone?

After seeing a slick dealofr a Delorime gps and MS streets or something. I was wondering if there is a way to 1) cinnecet via the miniusb 2) convert from usb to usb , double female. or should i just go bluetooth?

I don't think the USB port supports the 6600 being the parent (not sure if that's the right term) to attach accessory devices. I'd go with the Bluetooth, which is what I've used and they work pretty well.

There are some great deals on rechargable bluetooth GPS receivers. I have been using one for about a year now. I would say this is definately the way to go. If I ever upgrade phones or change, the minisd might change but I doubt the bluetooth will. So, for ease and future compatibility I went with and would suggest a bluetooth unit.

yeah the 6700 is not setup to function as a host thru usb. you would have to use BT for this
