I have lost all capabilites to run activesync over bt..I have no clue what the heck is going on.

I had an issue before and got this message asking if I wanted to turn off com5 or not, and I said NO, and it still turned it off. I have no clue how to turn it back on now.

If I try to pair up the phone with laptop via the phone, it doesnt even contact the laptop, usually i'd get a pop up window on laptop asking to enter the code, but now it doesnt do that anymore.

I tried hard resetting and didnt work, switched from activesync4.5 to 4.2, didnt work...nothing works now, only way I can sync over is via USB, and even then my contacts arent syncing over and yes, I turned my firewall off and tried to do it and still nothing.

I am close to either breaking my phone, my laptop, my fist, or all 3, so I am hoping someone can help me here.

How do I turn BT so its on ALWAYS. As far as I know I never turn my BT on my laptop off, but for some reason it did this,and I guess if you reboot after you turn it off, it asks you if you want to turn off Com5.

Need of some urgent help here before I go nuts.

To set up a Bluetooth connection, do the following:

Open the Bluetooth Devices Control Panel.

My problem is, where the heck is Bluetooth Devices Control Panel????

All I see is my bluetooth places, that is it.

Also the bluetooth icon has disappeared at the lower right of my laptop, where all startup icons appear.

ANYONE?????

thanks for the link, I have read it all, tried it all...gave up, unistalled the BT on my laptop, hard reset to PPC, and now what...

When I got to BT wizard in My BT places, and right click on it, it tells me NO LOCAL BT DEVICE DETECTED?????

This is really a joke..I dont want to restore my entire fricken laptop. I cant even connect via USB anymore.

Also, I am noticing that most of the com ports are unistalled. I dont know what is going on here.
