Unhappy sprint ppc 6700 doesnt work with holuxgpslim240

Ok,I just got my holux gps, charged it for one day, loaded the software in the 6700 (gps viewer) I turn on the BT on the 6700 , went to settings/connections / bluetoot/ turned it on, made device discoverable.
hit New partnership, 6700 scans and finds the HOLUX GPSlim2400 with a "?" next to it. hit the holux, hit next, it asks for a passkey???? I choose to leave it blank one time, next time I put a "1" in it still, does not unlock or access the gps unit, went thru GPS scanning program in ppc6700 no surprise here, it says (open failed) i set it to COM1 and baurate to 3800 like booklet wanted, still can't open GPS. help please...

Did I miss something? neither the direction booklet nor the pdf file mention on neither (6700 nor holux) about a pass word and will not let me go to "next" key without entering a random number or letter in the box.
BTW I use spb pocket plus, would it affect it? also have google maps installed in it.
thanks for the help.

Boris

For the "passkey" try 0000 - that's the most common BT passcode.

When all else fails, read the manual - the one for my Holux 236 isn't that long.
