Today screen: Hide bottom bar with CommMgr & Rotation icons?

Hello all,

I've searched through all the hack threads, but didn't find a mention of this. Is there any way to hide the bottom bar my 6700's Today screen...the one with the Communication Manager and Screen Rotation icons? I'd like to free up that horizontal real estate, if possible.

Thanks in advance,
- Doug

These are all simple registry changes. After you make the changes, turn off the phone for a minute, so the changes get written to memory, then reboot your phone by pressing the reset button.

You can ditch the Screen Rotate with this registry change:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\ScreenRotate\ShowIcon
from 1 to 0.

You can ditch the Power Icon in the system tray with this one:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\Power\Keep
change to Zero

You can ditch the Wireless Manager in the system tray with this one:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\WirelessMgr\Keep
change to Zero

Thanks a ton, all...I guess not using the words "system tray" in my search may have been the reason I didn't find the past threads. Thanks for jumping on this one...it's great to have the additional 20 pixels of vertical space!
