iPhone launcher and slide lock with fixed time

I fixed the iPhone launcher and slide lock that have been floating around so that they now show the correct time. Screenshots:

http://upload7.postimage.org/568490/photo_hosting.html
Unzip both files into the same directory, and then copy that directory to your phone. You can open the launcher by clicking launcher.exe. You can activate the slide lock by clicking the time on the launcher, or by clicking slide.exe. You can change which programs launch from the launcher using the config.ini file.

Edit: Skip the .zip files. Too many questions about how to unzip. Here's a .cab file.ftp://ppcgeeks:ezupload@up.ppcgeeks.com/Applications/TS_Launcher.cab
Copy the .cab file onto your phone and then run it to install.
Attached Files
File Type: zip TSLauncherPart1.zip (852.4 KB, 4745 views)
File Type: zip TSLauncherPart2.zip (357.1 KB, 4065 views)

Sounds like you didn't unzip the second file into the same folder as the first file. When both are unzipped, you should have a folder with slide.exe, launcher.exe, config.ini, and a GFX folder.

Well i over wrote those files with larger ones and it still did not work. Do you need net framework or something?

Well, I just downloaded both to double check, and there are no duplicate files. As a matter of fact, the second .zip file ONLY contains slide.exe. I don't know what you're doing wrong, but I would try re-downloading (making sure to get Part1 and Part2) and then unzip them to a different folder than the one you previously used (still unzipping them into the same folder, though.)

Sounds like we have a common (SOLVED below). I unzipped both files, exactly per your instructions. Got prompted to overwrite the bmp files as posted above. I do see launcher and slide exe's but no GFX folder?

SOLVED: I *unzipped* both zips to the directory and things worked fine. When simply dragging and dropping the files *from* the zip, the above errors occur. No idea why, never seen this behavior b4 with winzip.

Beautiful app, but I do see some delays when activating, closing. Also Im running it from the card, so wondering if anyone has seen a DSOD using it from the card yet?

Anyone made a screen icon to make this 1-clickable?

You can redirect any of the icons to any .exe file using the config.ini. Note, you can't point to a .lnk. The config.ini must be pointed to the actual .exe file.

As far as source code, I've attached it below. It was written using PPL 1.22. Do NOT use 1.23 to compile as you'll have tons of problems. http://arianesoft.ca/index.php
Attached Files
File Type: zip SourceCode.zip (8.0 KB, 259 views)

The .zip is setup with the proper directory structure. Just unzip it. If you drag the files out, then you'll lose the directory layout.

Make sure you are not using Thumbnail view or Filmstrip view. Check for any thumbs.db files in all the subfolders. If you find any, delete them. Windows will complain, but nothing bad will happen (they'll be recreated when you use Thumbnail view or Filmstrip view.) Now you should be able to easily copy all the files to your PPC.

OK, I've decided to make this easy. I made a .cab file. Download it here: ftp://ppcgeeks:ezupload@up.ppcgeeks.com/Applications/TS_Launcher.cab
Copy the .cab file onto your phone and then run it to install.

edit the config.ini file. It is located in /Program Files/TeknoShock/TS_Launcher. The default config.ini is:
[Button Config]
text=\Windows\tmail.exe
calendar=\Windows\calendar.exe
photos=\Windows\pimg.exe
camera=\Windows\camera.exe
calculator=\Windows\calc.exe
stocks=\Windows\solitare.exe
maps=\Windows\Cecmd.exe
weather=\Program Files\SiriusWM5\SiriusWM5.exe
notes=\Windows\apMemo.exe
clock=\Windows\clock.exe
settings=\Windows\ClearTemp.exe
phone=\Windows\cprog.exe
mail=\Windows\tmail.exe
web=\Windows\iexplore.exe
ipod=\Program Files\Starbrite\ppod\ppod.exe

Find the item you want to change, then for example stocks, you would change it to stocks=\Windows\myprogam.exe

Make sure to point to an .exe file and not a .lnk file
