I switched over to AKU 3.5 today (Saridnours latest) and find that I've been frustrated by having to relearn a lot of basic info. Unfortunately, this time I don't have an official instruction manual to refer to. I love the speed of the software, and I love having stereo bluetooth - plus I believe my sound quality through bluetooth has improved. However, I find myself frustrated by the following:
1) Now that hitting X permanently closes out a program, how can you leave a program running in the background - while maintaining access to your today screen?
2) The button to rotate your screen orientation appears to be gone. Sometimes you want to have the keyboard out - but still want the screen in portrait orientation. How can you do so without having to go through the start menu each time?
3) Finally, once I set my headset to pair in the headset and stereo configurations - ALL the phone sounds are getting transferred to my headset. I can't see my headset's battery lasting very long if that's the case. Is there a way I can assign the bluetooth stereo profile ONLY to certain programs like TCPMP?
I know it's pathetic but I've been searching my phone, here and PPCGeeks for hours to solve these seemingly basic issues. If you can answer any of these questions, or point me to the threads I must have missed - I'd greatly appreciate it.
Honestly, those are customizations of saridnour's and not of the basic AKU 3.5. I would check and post in his thread for answers. If you cannot find them, I will dig up the reg edit to put the screen rotate back. Also, try to find out which program he is using to close apps.

The first two items can be addressed by assigning one of your buttons to WisbarLite. When this is done, pressing that assigned button will pop a context menu down from the "X" in which you will find many different closing options as well as an option to rotate the screen. If I don't miss my guess, you will be more pleased with this arrangement than what you formerly had.

Wow, thanks for the info guys. I didn't realize that was a Saridnour customization. It did seem weird for me that 3.5 would have removed the screen rotation. I'll ask there first, as you suggested Colonel. Thanks.
I'm going to see if I can use wisbar lite to stop closing apps completely.
Thanks again guys, I've been really frustrated by this.
OK - I just figured I'd update here in case anyone has the same problems. The reg settings to replace the first 2 pieces of info are:
HKLM\services\screenrotate\ShowIcon === change from 0 to 1
HKLM\Services\Power\ShowIcon = 1 (DWORD decimal)
The second one actually returns the power icon - which Saridnour had also removed in favor of wisbar lite. Unfortunately, wisbar caused too many conflicts with other programs.
Wisbar was also setting the X button to permanently close out programs.
