Deleting Default sounds, backgrounds etc?

Has anyone every figured out if we can delete some of these useless default items on the phone, like the today screen backgrounds, ringtones and so on?

there must be someway to do this.

Any help or direction will be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Marilene

Why? They are not taking up any of your usable space.

Oh I thought they were using space that I could put tones & backgrounds on that I like instead of theirs. The link you sent is wanting me to log on. Is there a link that allows me to register?

That link is just to my custom roms on an ftp. If you want to try to install a custom rom, you might want to read through some of the custom rom threads both here and at ppcgeeks.com
