Cannot get blutetooth DUN to work on my thinkpad...

I tried the sticky above, however, it provides no help for thinkpad users. I found this post giving steps to getting it to work for ibm thinkpads

http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/416663-post92.html

However, when I get to step 9, no matter what I try I cannot get it to act as a modem. The only options I get are for a serial port and an audio gateway. How can I get this to work?? Thanks.

Is this a 3.3 rom problem? I am using the 3.3 rom, and others have posted that they cannot tether with 3.3, although I saw one post that said they could with 3.5. Can anyone confirm this? I need my laptop to recognize this as a modem! I know I have done it when i got to device manager and see bluetooth as a modem, correct?

Ok, in stalled pdanet, which is supposed to automate this whole proccess. It actually installed a bluetooth modem driver, how I dont know. Any ways, it still does not work. When I try to connect, it gives me a error: 633, it says the modems are conflicting. I tried pdanet's solution and it didnt work. I uninstalled it and it left my bluetooth modem driver, but i still get the error. How do I get around this error 633?
