My mail2web account went down around 4pm on 3/28 and was back up around 9:30 3/29 (this morning). It seemed to work well all day, but who knows when those emails I got were actually sent.

still down

I'm STILL not getting my emails pushed to my 6700. Anyone else get anymore info out of them?

Also, what was that new alternative service that someone linked earlier? All I recall is that it was free and the site was very attractive.

I know some people may not want to hear this as they probably think I work for 'em, but emoze (www.emoze.com) is free and runs on own PC. So as long as your PC is up, so is your push email and pim syncronization. It is extremely easy to set up and takes less than 5 minutes. I've been very satisfied with it's operation.

Yes, but does emoze allow you to reply as your own email address such as: whatever@yahoo.com?

Yes, all email sent is sent via your own email address.

And if you want that feature with Mail2Web then that does cost money ($2/month I believe).

Mail2web was up and down for me from Wenesday of last week throught at least Saturday--I was paying the $2 per month for my own email address.

As of Sunday, I canceled my two M2W accounts and signed up with 1and1. They are a bit pricey, but let's see if I get what I pay for.

Occasional "glitches" are on thing but being down for days is quite another.

Also, I noticed the 1and1 Outlook Web client is much faster than M2W's.

Glad I'm not the only one having these problems in a way, at least if its a "global" problem it is more likely to be sorted.

TBH, apart from the inconvienience of not been able to get my emails, it hasn't really effected me much as I have my Nokia phone set to "Phone Win", so my contacts are uneffected when the service goes down.

Is there any further news on the repairs to the service?
