Seidio 1500mah Battery Got Fat...

Just got the Seidio extended slim battery. I've had it charging all day on the stock dock. When I took it off and put it in my phone is got a little fat. The bulge is noticable but it still fit in the phone. Its a tight fit with the cover on. It works but it raises the battery cover very slightly on one side. Is this normal? Should I be worried?

Thanks!

Try reseating the cover. Sounds like the notches are not seating properly

A buldging lithium battery is not good. It is a sign of an over voltage charge, charging at too high of a current, or charging a battery that is too far discharged. I'd highly recommend returning the battery. Lithium Ion batteries should never swell due to the metal encasing.

I just send an email to Seidio's customer service. Let's see how good their customer service is. I'll keep everyone posted.

Seidio customer service is sending me out a new replacement battery and a package to ship the defective battery back to them in. Couldn't be happier with their service. They even responded fairly quick to my email.
