Single Line Date on Today Screen

Does anyone know of a registry fix to make the date only take up a single line like it used to? Instead of having the day of the week on one line (Monday, Tuesday etc...) and the date (March 01, 2007) on another line have them together on the same line?

I use LVMTime to accomplish this. A quick search on this forum should turn up some links for it, I'd add mine as an attachment but there might be a newer version of it by now.

Edit: this looks to be a link to the author's thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=260441&highlight=lvmtime

Make sure to check out the options under Today->Items, as you can have it always display the clock in the top bar as well, which is another benefit.

Also, check out rlToday.
http://rotlaus-software.de/projects/rltoday
It's very customizable. Also, with simple XML editing, you can display any text you would like.

Registry Edit solution

Here are the instructions to do this via an edit to the registry:

Works great!

I'd love a clock that sits next to the small icons on the lower right of the today screen (so that it doesn't take up a precious line ON the today screen) - does anything like that exist?

rltoday and icons

Two questions, when you add apps on rltoday, where are the icon files kept so I can load the icon for calculator etc.

If you create your own icons or background what sizes should they be to conserve on space but be big enought for my over 40 eyes

The new 3.* roms floating around do this by default. One more reason to go for it!
