Unhappy Corrupt Entry causing Verizon sync issue

I need help identifying an entry in my appointments that is causing an error. When I sync with the PDA over EVDO I get an error message that tells me there is a problem deleting an appointment. But, it does not tell me if the error in deleting is on the PDA side or the Verizon server side.

I logged in via the web interface on the wireless sync web site. The sync log states that following;

X:\Portal\Client\CEOutlookTranslator\PFolder.cpp 7354
Error occurred while deleting a record.
COM Error 80070490.
Record key 1073741886

This still does not tell me which record is the problem, let alone whether the bad record is on the PDA or the server.

Any clues???

Backup your calendar in outlook to a PST file. Delete everything in your calendar. Force a resync on the PC side. Once done go to wsync.com and log in and see what if any appointments are left. manually delete those. Once everything is clear, force your phone to resync. Then simply re import the pst file and resync on the pc side.

Well, before I sat down to tackle this problem with your solution (which I am sure would work successfully), I updated to the new VZW wireless sync set to fix the new DST settings. I synced and the problem is gone. But, I will remember this if it occurs again. THANKS

I didnt think there was a DST setting in the device but rather was updated by the carriers towers. I know thats how mine has always worked.
