Ok I installed this new Rom thingy... its good.. However When i plug my phone in to charge it does not show if it is charging or not.. The light does not turn on... How do i fix this?
PS: I installed the SPRINT version.. Kervin SPRINT..

Ok i am also getting an Error with a "No Modem found at the dialed #777" thingy.. I cant send pictures or go on Explorer.. HELP! .. Sprint user here.. thank you.

thats news to me, mines work perfect. did u hard reset after installing? the first time i installed this rom i didnt hard reset and it had all kinds of problems

I hard reset yes.. after yes... However, during *BEGINNING* installation it tells you to Hard reset following with a Bootdisk Startup.. I hard Reset, and it said "clear Ok".. Then it asked to press Space Bar to load up Sprint... I did not press the space bar, Instead I loaded the Bootdisk from there (holding the power and data button while pressing the reset) Is that what I was supposed to do?
i think i installed this rom too many times to close my eyes and do it..
when u hit hard reset it will put u in the Y or N screen then u hold power and and data buttons and hit reset again and it will go black but it will say something on there i cant remember nor did i care, then u plug in you usb cable to sync... after your computer say what it says u run the .exe file.. when thats done hard reset hit Y and then space bar and you are good to go..(the computer will tell u to soft reset but you need to hard reset it)
try reinstalling it? i dont know i am not a wiz when it comes to this but i know i installed it atleast 3 times not because of the aku but my phone was feeling a little sick after i used a different battery

Ok the light is working now.. thanks.. However I cannot connect to the internet with my phone.. I says "dialing #777" Then shortly after it says no modem found or something... Please help... I am a Sprint User, I believe it has something to do with the Domain or something..?
bluetooth streaming audio is still not working past 5 seconds -- any helpful advice? i have a plantronics 640 headset and it was streaming well under the last offical verizon upgrade . . . i'm running 3.5 clean and simple now with the Verizon customizations.

I have had this ROM installed for a few days and don't get very many calls. I missed one today and went to set my ringtone to one I know I would heard and the newer ring tones are not what I would have hoped for.
Does someone or can someone archive up the ring tones that are part of the default AKU 2.0 install on the XV6700 (Verizon)?
I have installed the Clean and simple AKU 3.5 on my Sprint PPC 6700. I did the Bluetooth/MS Voice Command Hack that allows you to activate VC by pushing the Bluetooth headset button. It requires a new dll and some registry hacks. The hack worked well with my old ROM but with the AKU 3.5, the voice command activates from the Bluetooth, but then goes back to the phone. Like the BT gateway shuts down.
I have seen other posts on this problem, but none of then have a fix.

It tells me that it will delete the old version, which I allow, and installs itself, saying it has completed, but when I start it again, it tells me an update is available. I've tried and repeated this several times, and in safe mode, with the same result.
I've tried a few of the ROM's and am learning about them and I like the clean one by Jeff Kirvin but I can't for the life of me get MS Voice Command 1.5 to work. I've looked everywhere and found a few people who got the same error message but no solutions.
Help anyone?

vc 1.5 doesn't work with any of the 3.x roms, you need vc 1.6

Have you tried just deleting livesearch yourself, soft resetting and then just running the cab on reboot? Its downloaded to docs unless you changed the location.
