Issue 1

When I initiate a call from the handset while wearing bluetooth ear piece (use dial pad or click on recent call to dial) the phone will connect to the ear piece for the call but also play sound out of the phones speaker. Is there a way to make it jump to the bt ear piece and turn off volume/connection at the 6700 speaker?

Is there a way to program ANY button on the phone to pull up the call log?

I have read and searched everywhere and cant find the fix.

I don't know about the 1st issue. I have come across a problem where the sound is not directed to the headset and I have to pick up the phone but never had sound through both at the same time.

On the other issue I haven't heard of mapping a button directly to the call log but I use smartskey. From the dialpad it allows you to use the joystick to pull up the call log, messages and speed dial.

I tried to install smartskey and get an app error on soft reboot.

I went from ver. 056 to 055 and it runs but it doesn't seem to be working.

#1 - try a hard reset? A different headset? I don't think this is default behavior of any ROM.

Did you try the hard reset for your first issue and if so did it work? I've had the phone for a year and never had this problem...until today.

It looks like you found a program to pull up the call log but in case you decide to try smartskey again the only thing that I can think of is the .ini file may not have been installed and/or configured correctly
