Problem: Installed Flash 7 plug-in for web browsing, but still get prompted to install Flash to view page. I installed Opera last night and it works great, but I think PIE loads pages much faster and takes less mem. But Opera did not solve my plugin situation.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled flash and I’m still getting page requires Flash 7. I’m currently running 2.07. Not sure who to contact, Verizon? Adobe? Anyone out there have the solution to this?

Verizon can't help you and its doubtful adobe will either. Whats the page you are trying to access?

comcast.com, bankofamerica.com, etc. most of the websites i visit need flash.

I've searched this forum again but to no avail. It must be something...web browsing was fine before i upgraded the rom but since then those sites that i visit no longer work without the plugin. i have the most updated version of flash and i already tried reinstalling it. Would appreciate so help if anyone can. Thanx!

its not the software companies or the phone company. its the webmasters of the perspective sites you want to access. they are just not fully compatible with mobile browsing using PIE or many of these 3rd party pocket web browsers.
