how do you get MMS to work and Disable Data

Ok ve posted this 3 times but for SOMEREASON they keep getting deleted, if you disable data by either changeing the 777 number or getting them to disable it you cant recieve MMS messages correct? so my question is how can i disable data and also stil be able to recieve mms texts?

I don't think you can. Text messsages use the voice line and mms messages use the data line. If you want to send or receive picture messages, you need a data plan.

I've seen some threads about trying to use wifi to send mms, but I don't remember if it was successfull. You can try searching for those threads.

As for your posts, I would be willing to bet that the mods just merged them in to existing threads.

I have mms messages included in my Text messageing plan? if that counts for anything?

I think thats just for billing purposes. On a technical side they use different ways to send information.

you can not do it. This is the only thing i hate about this phone. my wife CRAPY RAZR can do it but we can't. I even have a text/pix plan. but still have to use the data for MMS. I basically have the plan for the text and have no data plan because i do not get/send many MMS

No one is deleting your posts. You can simply click on your username and then click the option to find all the posts you have authored. Doing that, I found that you asked your question once before and it looked like it was merged into another similar pre-existing thread.

ok thanks, so i could just disable the data on the phone then when i wanna send or recieve a pix message, just change the 777# back thhen when im through just change the number again so it dont connect?
