Seidio Extended battery cover is loose - any suggestions?

Recently purchased the seidio 3200 mAh battery and I love love love it. I am rocking wifi, bluetooth and the screen at full brightness all day long and never dipping below 60%.

However, the cover is so loose! Falls off all the time, especially when i extract the phone from the hip holster (I bought the bigger Seidio holster as well). Anyone know any tips or tricks, aside from scotch tape, to tighten this thing up?

Thanks!

I agree the cover is loose and I have the same problem. That battery is amazing and best I have seen even for the price. Wish the cover did stay on better and I am going to try a few things....

By the way I got the Seidio Car 4600T mount with a USA clip and it is awesome

I am really thinking about getting the 4600T as well, I just have to convince myself to spend $130 on it.

The loose cover is indeed a problem.

I've surrounded my extended battery cover with transparent package sealing tape, cut in 4 strips to fit over the cover edges and hold the piece in place. I use a smaller piece of the same kind of transparent tape to seal the storage card slot and keep the mini-sd card from spontaneously jumping out.

You can't see or notice the tape that much and it works at both ends of the 6700. However, you would think that hardware with a list price of $500-600 would not require such a tacky repair solution.

While the price is high for the 4600t, it is worth it and I attached it to a PROClip device which was perfect.

As for the Battery cover, I am going to apply some electrical black tape to see how that works for now, but I agree..very ghetto looking

Since you guys are not changing batteries (taping the cover on) do what I did and put a couple of dabs of silicon on the battery, put the cover into place and let it dry. If you ever need to change the battery, the cover will still come off....

I've had the same issue with the battery door being loose no matter who makes it. The crystal case does solve this issue if you can keep that damn thing from breaking, but thats for another thread...

I've just used some super glue to build up mass on the six pegs that hold the door in place. paint some super glue on each peg, let dry completely, and then put the door back on.
