Speaker phone sucks with GPS

Its really getting annoying having to turn my music off when I hear the chime to my next direction. has anyone come up with a solution to better the speaker phone?

I've hooked it up to my fm transmitter when I'm in a big city trying to get around, but when I'm on the highway the road noise and my music really cancel out this so called speaker on this phone.

I've got a bluetooth audio program that has worked well, but when I receive a phone call the mic doesn't work. not sure if its my program or what.

ok I'm done, any suggestions?

If you don't mind spending a hundred bucks or so, Seidio sells a suction-cup windshield-mounted cradle for the 6700 that includes an amplified speaker for speakerphone calls or GPS directions. I think it's around $120-$130, but it seems like it would solve your problem. Pricey, though.

I bought the Seidio 4600t and it is awesome. I have NAv 6 running as well as a BT headset and when the unit is in the 4600 Car mount it all comes together. The speaker handles the GPS directions from NAV6 and when a call comes in the system mutes the Nav and the call comes in thru the speaker on the car mount..all amazing. I hooked up the microphone as well to the unit so it is as good if not better than BT headset when I am in the car. I also am using the 12v power port on the car mount to power my radar detector and GPS receiver all with one unit and minimal cables.
