Which programs to move over?

Hello gentlemen
I got my PPC-6700 about 2 weeks ago and in the excitement of a new phone I loaded every program under the sun just to try it out. Later I uninstalled a lot of crap and just kept the ones that I think I would need.
I am also attaching a screen captures of the programs currently installed.
I just got a SD card but have not installed it as of yet. Hence all the programs you are seeing are installed on the phone’s internal memory.
If I uninstall some of the programs and install them on the card will I notice some improvement in the performance? (Speed it up?)If yes, then which programs do you recommend me moving over to the card? Will it give me an option to install it on the card when I’m re-installing them? I am kind of new to this so I appreciate the help.
Thanks

It's up to you dude, it's your phone. Set it up how you want. Some programs specifically state they cannot be installed to the card. You won't notice any increase with the naked eye and what little you do notice you will get used to quick and wont notice it anymore. It's a pretty fast device already but you will probably want to do some of the hacks located in the sticky at the top of the forum. To summarize, you have a lot of reading and experimentation to do so happy reading. It takes time to get it how you want it but like any computer. It's very hard to mess it up and you are probably going to build it and rebuild it a few times before you get it how you like it. It's a gadget... play with it. You'll learn what works and what doesnt and I can't stress this enough... read instructions for each software program and it will save you a lot of headaches. I have all my software installed on my card short of about 10 programs. You probably want to move as much as you can over to the card and leave the internal memory available for whatever may come.

Yes it will give you an option to install to the card if the card is installed.

Happy hunting

Anything that involves the Today screen, the system itself, or would auto-run on startup should be in main memory.

Oh really? I haven't read up too much on that - still real happy with the latest VZW ROM and the reg hacks.

If your phone aint broke dont fix it... Im just a junkie for upgrades... It's a much more stable version as far as DSOD goes and faster but still a little quirky in other areas as this is not the official upgrade.

great suggestions but as stated its your phone so there is many ways to configure it. there are discussions in the archives discussing some ideas on which programs to move to the card and the TYPE of program.
