will voice command for WM5 PPC work on WM5 smartphone?

I have the MS Voice command for my XV6700 that's for WM5 PPC.

Will this version also work on a WM5 smartphone (Blackjack)? Or would I have to buy the smartphone version?

Always good to search the mfr's web site:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...d/default.mspx

Samsung BlackJack from Cingular
Voice Command 1.6 bluetooth functionality does not work properly on the Samsung Blackjack. It is not possible to initiate a voice command interaction using the headset, and it is not possible to receive audio announcements through the headset on this device.

Always good to really read my question!

I wasn't asking about the inherent limitations of MS VC 1.6 on a blackjack that come from the fact that the blackjack lacks some of the BT capability that VC would use to control via BT Headset.

I WAS asking if the PPC version is different or will work on the Smartphone version. I would *assume* no, but thought I'd ask. When you go to Handango to purchase the product, you have to specify whether you're running WM5 for a smartphone or WM5 for a PPC. However, I was curious if Anyone had tried the PPC version on a smartphone and if it worked or not. I was using the XV6700 and the Blackjack as examples (because those happen to be the devices that I'm dealing with). However, the quesetion is more of a WM5 Smartphone Edition vs. WM5 PPC edition question.

Thanks.

They do not work, i tried it already. I have a 2125 SmartPhone, and the PPC version does not work.
