Orignal PPC-6700 Price?

How much was PPC-6700 when if first came out?
and how much will its successor the PPC-6800 be when it hits the US market?
when do you expect a price drop for PPC-6800?

I believe it was $599. I got mine for $99 after switching to Sprint.

I got mine for free. I switched from T-Mobile to Sprint with a 2-year contract. The deal was offered via eBay.

I think they were $650 but you could get a $150 off with a new 2 year contract. That was from Sprint - there were some Ebay "deals" that you could get it for free or really cheap but in turn, they charged you the max for your contract - you couldn't use your current contract with those "deals".

The release price was $629. But you have to remember that most people paid an additional $29 activation fee and even shipping.

I got mine the second week it was available from SprintNetwork (ebay) for $300. No shipping or activation fees, but I had to activate it on a new line and wait 30 days before making an esn swap. Kind of a lot of dickin' around, but at half price, it was worth it.
