hotmail is not outlook compatible, so there are no server settings that you can use for it..

Any account that you have just go to their website and into the help or faq section and find out what settings you need to add. Either do a pop3 account where you download it into outlook directly and then sync, or forward the mail to another account that has pop3 and then download it to outlook and sync. Hotmail has no pop3 that I know of and I dont have hotmail so check for yourself on forwarding.

If you just sign in to Pocket MSN it will automatically set up a hotmail inbox in your pOutlook. That's by far the easiest way to do it. For setting up pop3 accounts directly on the phone (without syncing with your desktop) go to the messaging app then Menu > Tools > New Account and then follow the prompts. You may need to use either Sprint/Verizon for your smtp server - many ISP's wont accept mail not sent through their servers. - sheureka

Thanks i find that that works but there are two problems using the msn signon for the ppc. it doesnt allow you to send attachments, (at lease mine doesnt) and the other thing is i want to utilize "HTTPMail" program and i cant use that until i get outlook connected to my pc.
i can download my calendar and contacts, but cant get my mail to sync w/outlook into my ppc
