Thumbs up You guys rock! XV6700 charging / email problem

Was up ! Migh bruthas and sistahs?!

Hey, Long time reader, 1st time caller lol.

I used this site for months, reading all your probs and solutions as I decided on which phone to buy. Your collective experienced and wisdom was invaluable!

I chose the XV6700 fron Vzn. I love it!

However, the little bugs are starting to crawl. Would anyone be so kind as to assist on a cpl of little probs I'm having?

1. The dreaded battery. I was screwing around with the "screen alignment" feature, did a soft reboot before it was finished, by using the stylus in the female hole next to the USB (a little trick you geniusus taught me .

The screen locked up (cld no use the touch screen feature) until I was able to find my way back to the screen alignment feature using the nipple.

Then my battery went from 80% to 2%. Now it wont hold a charge, or charge at all in the car (however, I am using a SLVR7 USB car charger).

A. Did I jack something up using a motorola SLVR7 car charger?
B. Is there a wiz bang fix I can initiate to fix?

2. My email sending / rcvng is was killer. Now, (after the battery thing) my incomming email is erased Right after it cocmes in and disappears.

A. Any ideas?
B. Are issues 1 and 2 related?

Thank you very much in advance for your time, consideration and hopeful assistance.

They shouldn't be related at all.. Does it charge normally with the included OEM charger? If so, I would say that the aftermarket one you are using is the culprit.

The other option is to backup everything on the phone (plug it in first) using spb backup, then do a hard reset. Check that charging and messages are working properly, then do a restore and see if that effects it. If so, do another hard reset and reload your programs one at a time. Then do your hack 1 at a time. (or use PPC6700 Hack)
