sync'd email. how do I get attachments?

It seems when ever my email gets synch'd and added onto the phone it only posts the first few lines of the email and never adds the attachments. Of course I get the option to add them on next sync but how can we get them to be on there the first time?
Lastly, how come my email seem to be removing them selves from the phone even thought they still appear on my outlook in mail?

Thanks guys

I have same problem. It often takes 3 or 4 syncs to get the e-mail from a "push" exchange server. Just figured it was typical MSFT - couldn't offer push so designed a work-around to keep up with the market until everyone can be confused enough so they can find a solution that works in 3-4 years.

This is something you will have to live with. I have talked to Verizon Wireless about this and it's just the way it works. I have attachments sent to my storage card. Parts of the email take a few times to sync before you can see it. There are places you can attempt to change that, like having the whole message download at once but it does not work with Wireless Sync. You must make it so mail will not delete. That is in your email settings. Then they will not disappear. Wireless Sync is a very poor program and Verizon techs admit it. They don't see any fixes for it in the near future. There are times it won't send me my email. It can go for hours without sending me email. The last 3 days, the system changed my password each day so I could not get into my email. Verizon claims there was nothing wrong with Wireless Sync. No one could explain why it happened. Good Luck...Hopefully there will be something that works right all the time in the near future.

On this one, I really recommend reading the manual. I have two accounts set up. On one I have it set up to download the entire e-mail and all attachments. The other it is set to preview only a few lines and then I choose whether or not to download attachments on the next sync.

If you go to mobile outlook, click on menu>tools>options.
Select the account you want>next>next>next.
Instead of "finish," click on "options."
Click next>next.
You will then have the choice of receiving message headers only or "get full copy of messages."

In ActiveSync (if that's how you're set up), under e-mail options you have the choice to include e-mail attachments.

I'm not very technologically savvy, but it was pretty simple, even for me. Sorry if I misunderstood and this doesn't help.
