Active Sync 4.5 Beta 2 Journal

Question 1 - I noticed when setting up this new Active Sync Beta there is an option to sync the Journal Folder. On the pc the option name is shadowed without a check box to the left. On the ppc the option is shadowed as well, but with a check box to the left. Is this perhaps a feature available on different pdas running an alternate Windows Mobile file?

Question 2 - The literature for Pocket Informant states you can add on a Journal sync enhancement for a fee, but it is rather vague and after downloading the trial version of both I could not get the journal function to work. Is it supposed to sync with "Outlook Journal" on the desktop or is it a separate journal software all on it's own?

I believe it's for windows journal, which is a tablet pc application that uses digital ink. I'm not sure if the full version of Journal even installs on a desktop. There is a free journal viewer program that you can download from the microsoft web site though.

I use Journal via Outlook 2003 on my desktop today

What I was hoping to do was:

Sync up my Outlook Journal with some type of Journal software on the ppc.
Tonydiv your theory does make sense though. I didn't think about Active Sync being used for the table pc's as well.
