Enough is enough! How do I permanently uninstall activesync?

After 100 attempts at disabling activesyc sing the dummy account/ scheduling method, activesnc still starts up every 5 minutes. I really just want to delete the whole app from my ppc. I will just extract future cab installation files directly to the ppc via a card reader. Any ideas on how to rid myself of this cursed app?
Thanks!

-sd dude

But did you turn off 'Time sychronize with mobile network automatically'? If not, it will more than likely fix your dilema.....go to your phone, click on menu, options, services, scroll down until you see 'Time Synchronization', click on it, Get Settings....disable 'Time synchronize with mobile network automatically'.

I had the same problem I did the whole setup of a dumby active sync account so I could then change the settings for active sync. It didn't solve my problem of it turning on by itself either. But the above did it for me, as others on this forum have pointed out!!
