Wireless sync of email and calendar w/o exchange ?

I've been posting here for quite some time about syncing with Exchange but now I have left the company that had the Exchange server and now I need to wirelessly sync the ppc-6700 WITHOUT Exchange.

I thought there was a program on the install disk that came with the phone but no such luck.

Is there any way to do this ? For free ?

Thanks.

You can use verizon's wireless sync. It comes with a prog for the handset (get the latest version at ota.wsync.com) and the feeder which you install on a pc that connects with your email account... Full push technology

Of course, you can only use Verizon's technology if you have Verizon's service.
Sprint has the same thing- I believe it's called Sprint Business Connect- but it's not free.
There are some free ones out there and they have been discussed on this forum and others.

Of course I have Sprint. Damn, I really do not want to pay for it. I guess I will search the forums for a decent solution.

Thanks

I cannot find anything. I just want a program that runs while my computer is on and syncs outlook with my Sprint 6700. I don't want to forward everything to a free exchange server. YIKES this is no fun.

There are some pretty decent hosted exchanged servers at minimal prices.
