XCPUScalar bricked my phone?

Hello all,

Well, it didn't brick *MY* phone . . .

But, after installing it and enjoying huge increase in responsiveness, I recommended to a friend, who downloaded & installed. Later that day he got a lock-up at 520Mhz and poked the button to reset . . . it never came back up. It just hangs at the yellow Sprint logo screen. It's a brick.

Anyone else experience this? I've no experience with OC'ing Pocket PC's but typically on desktops overclocking means more heat & potentially frying your CPU. I assume the same could potentially apply to a Pocket PC? Make sense?

I have been using xcpuScalar for the past 2 months. I keep my 6700 @ 624mhz all the time without problems.
