I assume you mean you want to use your 6700 as a modem for the PS3 to use as a connection to the internet? I'd hate to see the download times if it could be pulled off.....not sure if it will work, but on the other hand, can't see any reason why it wouldn't. If you have the 60GB version, it has a built in wireless capability that would work alot smoother, if that is an option for you.
Even the 20 GB model will eventually have a wireless modem add-on available soon.....

The only caution I would provide is that Sony is infamous for making compatability with non-Sony products tricky at best, and unworkable at worst. Also, be careful about downloading their latest PS3 firmware update...it apparently screws with the resolution settings. See avsforum (dot) com for more details regarding this situation....

Don't be a Sony borg (been dying to use that icon....)

Good luck!

I'm purely conjecturing, but with the PS3's capability to run other OSs, such as Linux, I see no reason why USB drivers for a CDMA modem couldn't be utilized. Don't take my word for it though- like most of us I have no PS3, and personally have no desire to get one.

That's a good question? I was able to get my paws on a 20gb version. I would imagine that you would have to pair the device ith the PS3 and see if internet sharing comes up as one of the bluetooth options. Eagerly waiting for one of the forum geniuses to figure this out.

LOL, that's like bringing a knife to a gun fight.. Those downloads are HUGE and take forever on the PS3 with a wired connection and a good cable ISP, let alone a cell carrier... I don't think you'll ever see support for anything remotely like this in the GameOS but though linux you might... It would certainly make for an entertaining YouTube video
