screen off and bluetooth (AADP) at same time

finally i found a way . well many of you might already know this but if not this is how you do it.

just download pocket music player. and thats it. lol.

the avrcp controls work and everything. the audio controls are also on your today screen which is cool. and the screen will automatically stay on.

Thumbs up

I also use this program for playing my music on the 6700...I think it works great! As you say, it is very convenient to have the today plug in and all the controls working on the headphones.....but what I found to be the best thing about this app is the fact that it uses comparatively very little program memory...which helps alot when running other programs concurrently.

Compared to WMP, the difference is startling! Just try it and you'll see......I couldnt believe the difference...it was well over 10 MB!

I also think the built in and adjustable "screen off" function was smart......saves a ton of battery juice!

Enjoy it...I think you made an excellent choice.

I payed for mine, but the base version (as per the above link) is available for free.

If you want all the bells and whistles though (biggest bell for me was the today screen plug-in), you'll have to pony up for the full version. At least, this is what I've gathered by briefly looking at that link.....

Thumbs up

I just installed the trial $20 version of PocketMusic a few hours ago, and I'm loving it.

GSPlayer seemed okay, but I wanted something with WMA capability - and unlike WMP, PocketMusic barely stutters for me with A2DP. I love the Today Screen and the screen lock . . . and my battery even seems to be lasting longer.
