Questions about the 1500MAH Slim Extended Battery for 6700

I'm tired of the bulk that the ebay extended battery gives. I'm about to pull the trigger on the 1500MAH Slim Extended Battery. I just wanted some opinions on the battery life of the 1500. I usually use my phone for internet and playing games. Any comments would be great. Thanks!

I got one last week and I got to say it's alot better then my standard battery. I don't know if my standard battery was going bad or what, but the other night I left the 1500 fully charged overnight off the charger and when I woke up it was at 100% still. If I woulda done that with the stock battery I would of woke up to about 80%. Also, my stock after a full charge would go to 90% without doing anything after about 10 minutes or so, not with the 1500. At first I thought the battery wasn't reporting it's status correctly, but it eventually went down to 90 after surfing and watching my slingbox for 1/2 hour......

Just my 2 cents.......

i did a google search for cell phone batteries. i found this websight called cellphoneshop.net. and ordered a new battery. it's the same stock 1200 battery. cost 15 dollars + 5 dollars shipping and handling. the sight is in germany so it took 2 weeks for delivery. but it's the best 20 bucks i ever spent. stock battery never lasted 24 hours. after 11 months i was lucky to go 8 hours and that was stretching it WITHOUT using the phone whatsoever. the new battery will last me 48 hours and still have a plenty of charge. i highly recomennd it. money well spent. and for the right price. i had to constantly use my charger. i have yet to use it now. other then nightly recharge.

Lithion Ion batteries are a "Born On" product. Meaning the day they complete the mfg process they are losing the ability to hold a charge and WILL eventually lose the ability entirely. That said you can extend that time greatly by keeping the batts away from heat and avoid being fully discharged. If you must store them any length of time get the charge to around 40-50% then freeze them.

For $20 even if it last a short time you can get the money out of it.

I hate a design that requires a cover as the 6700 does. This causes all sorts of issues with batteries that I never had with my i700 and its exposed batt.
