I searched but have come up empty handed.
So a few days ago i downloaded the new ROM thats supposed to make voice calls take priority over data from this thread. http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/ppc-6...-rom-here.html

It was working fine for a few days but now i'm having trouble with text messages. My freinds are saying that alot the messages i send are only one letter. for example i'll type "hey wats up" and all they will recieve is "h" I also am not getting some messages. I have been told a few times that i was sent a message but i never recieved it.

So thats the problem, and heres a question. When the new ROM was installed and the phone boots up when on the Sprint screen it says across the top "Test only not for sale" It has the sprint logo in the middle of the screen and the red writting and numbers at the bottom and "Test Only Not For Sale" is centered at the top of the screen. Other then that it all looks normal and works fine except for the text messages. is that normal? why does it do that?

I don't know if the rom as anything to do with your text issue. However, that is the wrong rom. Sprint apparently made a mistake and provided a test rom instead of the final version. You should not have that version on your phone. Sprint has since corrected the link.

So i went to redownload the link, this time i got it from sprint's website, www.sprint.com/downloads. I clicked to download it and it's called
nov. 21 APA_SPCS_20600_302_12700_WWE_Test and thats word for word what the one was called that i download the first time.
and it still says test at the end so i am just curious if that is the fixed link to the new rom or is that still the test version. I just don't want to have to go through all the trouble if resetting up my phone if im just gonna be installing the same test version.

I just looked (again) and I'm showing the final version on the website - doesn't make sense that you would get the old one. Maybe refresh the page? - sheureka
