anyone able to successfully sync ppc with outlook '07? I haven't been able to yet. It always gives me some error code, which is completely useless to me because there's no description and the troubleshooter is also of no help.
yup, I have also deleted the computer profile and re created it after reinstalling 2007. I have done everything but reinstall activesync itself on my PC.

I have the same issues and have had for some time. I have reinstalled AS, Outlook, Reformatted my PC, hard resetted my PPC and still have the issues as well.

^wow...it's hard to tell without being on your actual machine what's causing the problem, but i've been able to flawlessly sync everything with outlook 2007 and onenote
1. Make sure you have the latest version of activesync (4.2)
2. I exported all my stuff from previous version of ms outlook (2003) into a pst and imported it into outlook 2007
3. I then deleted the current activesync partnership and made a new one
4. Then in setting up the new activesync partnership i selected all things to sync with outlook 07.
5. works very well and i even got it to sync with bluetooth using a nice software called bluesoliel 2.3. The good thing about bluesoliel is u can tether via bluetooth and sync activesync (OTA) simulataneously.
I have tried Outlook 2003 & 2007. The same things happen. In my linked post I stated that the contacts sync right. They don't actually do that anymore. They will not sync at all anymore. They also place about 50 blank contacts in the same manner as the calendar does in front of all the true contacts. Then if I change something either in the phone or PC it will not sync even though AS appears to be working to sync. I have tried 2 different phones and reformated my PC twice.
Still nothing.
