I have an XV6700. I have it happen to me often where I'll go to close the phone application (to get back to the "desktop" screen), and I get stuck in a loop where it just goes back and forth between the call history & dialer.

I also just recently got it "stuck" where I can't get out of the "Programs" list where all the icons of my programs are.

I hate to have to do a soft reset to fix these things. Is there something I'm doing wrong? When I get into the dialer/history loop, I can't even use magic button to get out of it.

I've been pretty cautious to try and leave as much memory available on my device as I can by installing programs to the miniSD card (I don't know if that would make a difference though with this situation.)

Do you have the X-button app installed on your phone?

Not yet. Is X-Button better than Magic Button? I've found that sometimes Magic Button doesn't close EVERYTHING I'd want it to.
