Check Notifications Removed Too Much

I have been using Check Notifications by ScaryBear happily for a while now, but recently I had an item that caused it to lock up (it kept saying clearing 22 of 23 items) so I uninstalled and downloaded the NEW version from ScaryBear's website, then I did the same as usual and opened C/N and clicked clear and blammo, it removed all but 3 items, never had it done this usually it only removed 2-3 items leaving 22 items. Since then I have had strange things happen, active sync never is running (used to always run), and my email checking is not working it used to check every 30 mins, but now it only checks after a call or when I turn the screen on.

What Did I Do?

PS: I have the AK2 Rom Update, 1GB SD Card, All Running Apps On Main Memory, Only IGide and Games On SD, No Ringers Too Big Or On SD.

J

I was having the same problems. It took me two weeks to figure it out and doing a hard-rest every night. I use MemMaid and you can clear the same Notifications well guess what when i used to clear them I could never Active Sync until i did another hard-rest. My alarms never worked and the alignment on my screen went nuts. So don't even bother with the program those Notifications don't even take that much space up anyways I would'nt bother with it and just get Memmaid and use that to help keep things clean but don't use the Notifications cleaner. Screws with the Phone big time.

Anyone else have their .02 cents? I though clear notifications was to HELP with the no alarms and notifications, not memory?

I use ScaryBear, but I use it in a manual way. I only clear the notifications when I notice that I am missing alarms. I do believe that this program will help with the memory, as the PPC has to load all of the tasks when booting up. (NOTE: I think I am wrong about this...).

I know it is manual intensive, but I had cleared all and had to hard reset without a reliable backup, so I prefer to manually control the tasks.

You are fine, Just do a Hard Rest get all those programs back up to date and just leave the notifications alone for now.
